Hunting

The conservation movement in Tennessee and across the U.S. was started largely by hunters who saw that fish and wildlife in our nation were reaching a breaking point. Today, hunting continues to be the primary way conservation is funded. But hunters’ numbers are falling.

By protecting hunting traditions and Tennesseans’ access to hunting opportunities, we can protect the funding that makes wildlife conservation possible, for game and nongame species.
