Have you ever wanted to learn how to source your own fresh, local protein?

Do you have a desire to become more self-reliant in the outdoors and at home?

Have you ever had an interest in learning how to hunt or fish, but weren’t sure where or how to start?

If so, Tennessee Wildlife Federation invites you to participate in our Hunting and Fishing Academy. We welcome adult, beginner hunters and anglers of all ages, races, and genders to receive hands-on instruction in the art of being an outdoorsman.

Trout Fishing Workshop in Elizabethton

Saturday, May 4, 2024
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EDT

This 3-hour workshop will teach you the basics of trout fishing. The first portion of the workshop will be spent learning the skills needed to trout fish successfully. The remainder of the time will be spent fishing! Rods and other fishing equipment will be provided. This event will be rain or shine. Join us for a fantastic day of learning! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Bass Fishing Workshop in Chattanooga

Bass can be found in all parts of Tennessee. They are a blast to catch and provide a good meal. Join us for this three-hour in-person workshop as we explain where to find bass and the correct tackle for targeting them!

Fly Fishing Workshop near Nashville

In this 3-hour workshop, we will be teaching you the basics of fly fishing. The first portion of the workshop will be spent learning the skills needed to successfully fly fish. The remainder of the time will be spent fishing in a private pond! Fly rods and other fishing equipment will be provided. This event will be rain or shine. Join us for an amazing day of learning!
