Habitat
Tennessee is graced with diverse habitats—from the marshes in the west to the mountaintops in the east. It’s these ranging ecosystems that make Tennessee such a beautiful and thriving state. But human development is shrinking natural areas and our activities are felt far beyond the last visible house.
Whether it’s in water or on land, privately owned or in the public trust, well-managed, connected habitat is essential to wildlife. That’s why Tennesseans must work for it every day.
