Have you ever wanted to learn how to source your own fresh, local protein?

Do you have a desire to become more self-reliant in the outdoors and at home?

Have you ever had an interest in learning how to hunt or fish, but weren’t sure where or how to start?

If so, Tennessee Wildlife Federation invites you to participate in our Hunting and Fishing Academy. We welcome adult, beginner hunters and anglers of all ages, races, and genders to receive hands-on instruction in the art of being an outdoorsman.

Intro to Waterfowl Hunting Workshop in Knoxville

Saturday, December 14, 2024
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST

Learn the basics of waterfowl hunting this season and increase your odds of success! During this three hour workshop, you will learn about waterfowl habitat, migration trends, hunting seasons and regulations, quota hunt opportunities, and the gear you will need to get started! This class is a great starting point for the first time waterfowl hunter wanting to build new skills and knowledge.

Advanced Waterfowl Hunting Workshop in Nashville

Sunday, December 15, 2024
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. CDT

Take your next step towards becoming a seasoned waterfowl hunter this season. During this three hour workshop, you will get to practice the skills needed to be successful in the field. These include skills such as setting a decoy spread, using a variety of calls, and shooting from a duck blind. This workshop is ideal for any new waterfowl hunter wishing to take their skills to the next level.
