As one of the largest organizations in Tennessee dedicated to the conservation of the state’s wildlife and natural resources, Tennessee Wildlife Federation has seen the impact a dedicated outdoor journalist can have on conservation.

“Outdoor writers provide a unique voice that lends itself to highlighting the importance of conservation efforts in ways the rest of the public will understand and, hopefully, rally behind,” Kendall McCarter, chief development officer, Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
