Every year, Tennessee Wildlife Federation celebrates members of Tennessee communities who have improved conservation, wildlife, and natural resources in the state. The Federation is now accepting nominations to honor everyday conservation heroes at its 59th Annual Conservation Achievement Awards.

  • Educates younger generations about wildlife and the outdoors?
  • Works in conservation, forestry, or wildlife management?
  • Brings communities together to improve public lands or waterways?
  • Has restored wildlife habitat on their land?

These are only a few examples of the many ways Tennesseans turn their passion for conservation into action—and Tennessee Wildlife Federation wants to celebrate them!

Nominations are accepted in nearly 20 categories, including Forest Conservationist, Conservation by Business, Conservation Educator, and Youth Conservationist. Details about each award and the nomination form can be found at tnwf.org/CAA. Nominations close March 1 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Awards will be presented in May at the Conservation Achievement Awards event, and winners will be announced across the Federation’s digital platforms.

Anyone in Tennessee working to conserve and improve our beloved natural resources deserves to be recognized for their passion and dedication to Tennessee’s wildlife and wild places. Nominate a community conservation hero today at tnwf.org/CAA.

“Tennessee is rich in abundance and diversity of natural resources—and that is made possible by the people, businesses, and organizations across the state working hard to conserve those resources for future generations.”

Kendall McCarter, Chief Development Officer
