FedEx supports Tennessee Wildlife Federation and its conservation work to the tune of $100,000.
Tennessee Wildlife Federation, one of the largest and oldest nonprofits dedicated to conserving the state’s wildlife and natural resources, received its largest ever corporate gift. FedEx Corporation awarded the Federation $100,000 to fund its annual needs and strategic growth.
“FedEx is a well-respected international brand with a sophisticated and thoughtful corporate giving program. We are thankful for their support and for their commitment to conserving Tennessee’s wonderfully diverse wildlife and natural places,” said Kendall McCarter, chief development officer of Tennessee Wildlife Federation.
The 71-year-old Tennessee Wildlife Federation has greatly increased its capacity in the last decade, enabling it to make even bigger gains for conservation in the state, and attracting broader support. This growth has been largely fueled by individuals and sportsmen and women in Tennessee.
“Funding from FedEx is highly sought after and the Federation is pleased that they want to invest in our mission. We look forward to doing even more great work for Tennessee’s wildlife,” said McCarter.
FedEx joins other major corporate supporters of the Federation’s mission including: Bridgestone, First Tennessee Bank, Packaging Corporation of America (PCA), and Sweeping Corporation of America, Inc.
