Aug 12, 2024

Tennessee SCTP athlete carries the state flag as she accepts an award at the 2024 SCTP National Championships.

It was a busy week for 283 Tennessee Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) athletes who represented the Volunteer State at the SCTP National Championships from July 13-20. These athletes, from 40 different teams,  journeyed to Marengo, Ohio to compete against the best in the country.

Competing among more than 3,000 athletes from 36 states at the Cardinal Center, Tennessee SCTP athletes and teams delivered exceptional performances. In total, they earned 80 awards across all disciplines and age categories.

“We are always proud to see how well Tennessee is represented. It’s incredible to participate at the national level and look around and see Tennessee on the podium in every event.”
