In 2017, Tennessee Wildlife Federation began its first wetland restoration project—a 12 acre site in the Cane Creek watershed in Putnam County. As of 2024, the site has undergone an amazing transformation and is now permanently protected under a conservation easement.

For 14 years, Delta Waterfowl has been proudly sponsoring the Davis P. Rice Memorial Youth Waterfowl Hunt which has introduced over 1300 youth across the state to waterfowl hunting since its inception.
Nominations Open for 2024 Conservation Achievement Awards
Every year, Tennessee Wildlife Federation celebrates members of Tennessee communities who have improved conservation, wildlife, and natural resources in the state. Nominations are accepted in nearly 20 categories, including Forest Conservationist, Conservation by Business, Conservation Educator, and Youth Conservationist.
