Seventy-three years ago, the Federation was founded by an assorted group of sportsmen and outdoor writers, hobbyists, and business owners. Their work and interests varied, but they were united by their concerns about our wildlife and great outdoors.
Today, Tennessee Wildlife Federation continues to work hand-in-hand with a diverse group of partners who share that mindset. Our Corporate Council members understand the value of Tennessee’s natural resources and the importance of conserving them for future generations.
And because of their support, the Federation continues to make a difference for Tennessee and those who call it home.
In the Tennessee General Assembly and on The Hill in D.C., we advocate for legislation that works to conserve our natural resources and wildlife for all Tennesseans. And with programs like Hunting and Fishing Academy, Hunters for the Hungry, and Tennessee Scholastic Clay Target Program, we’re on the ground every day creating the next generation of conservationists.
Corporate Council members help make this work, and so much more, possible.
Our Chairman’s Circle is comprised of Academy Sports + Outdoors, Bridgestone Americas, FedEx, First Horizon, Tennessee Valley Authority, and Walmart.
Final Flight Outfitters, Gander Outdoors, Knight Rifles, Patagonia, PCA (Packaging Corporation of America), Yamaha, and YETI make up our Defenders’ Circle.
The Supporters’ Circle includes Barrett Firearms, BDY: Natural Sciences Consultants, and Gamaliel Shooting Supply.
