Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s 2018 calendar contest was a success! Thanks to everyone who entered and the thousands who cast votes.

In August, 515 photographers submitted 2,765 photographs highlighting Tennessee’s diverse wildlife and habitats.

Judges reviewed each photograph for originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit, and selected the cover image, monthly feature photographs and honorable mention images for the calendar.

An additional 93 photographs were selected to compete for the People’s Choice Award—they were featured on the Federation’s social media and website. 16,208 votes were cast, and the people have spoken!

Tennessee Wildlife Federation is excited to announce our People’s Choice Award winner:

Bald Eagle Flies With Fish Over River by Priscilla Morris of Nashville.

The image (featured above) was taken at Cross Creek Park and received 2,368 votes. Ms. Morris will receive a $100 Academy Sports + Outdoors gift card, Federation apparel and a 2018 calendar.

You have the opportunity to view Tennessee wildlife every day in 2018. Those who support Tennessee Wildlife Federation between today and the end of the year with a gift of $50 or more will receive a calendar as a token of our gratitude. Calendars will begin mailing in late November.
