Wildlife Rehabilitators in Tennessee

If you find an animal that may need help, always call the nearest rehabilitator first. They can determine if the animal truly needs care and whether they’re able to take it.
Due to chronic wasting disease, wildlife rehabilitators in Tennessee are no longer permitted to accept white-tailed deer fawns. If you find a fawn, the best thing to do is leave it alone. Do not move or interact with it. Most likely, the fawn is not actually abandoned but practicing normal white-tailed deer behavior.
