Tennessee Wildlife Federation Adds Jill Hanggi to Board of Directors
Tennessee Wildlife Federation is pleased to welcome Jill Hanggi as one of the newest members of the board of directors.
“We’re excited to have Jill serve as a new member on the board,” said Ric Wolbrecht, chairman of the board of directors of Tennessee Wildlife Federation. “Each board member brings different strengths to the table and Jill’s insight and passion for the outdoors makes her an excellent addition to help steer Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s work.”
Jill grew up in Clinton, Tennessee. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School and earned a B.S in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a B.S. in Interior Design from East Tennessee State University.
A licensed interior designer, Jill has worked in both the commercial and residential fields.
Jill served as secretary on the Dunaway Hunting and Fishing Club Board from 2014 to 2016 and served as the board’s president from 2016 to 2020.
She’s a member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Trout Unlimited, and National Wild Turkey Foundation.
An avid outdoorswoman, Jill enjoys hunting whitetail deer, turkey, mule deer, elk and has traveled to Africa and Argentina to hunt.
“I look forward to working to conserve and enhance wildlife habitat for present and future generations of outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy,” said Jill.
Jill has been married for 25 years and has two children ages 13 and 19. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and fishing.
