Follow TN’s Roadmap to Better Water
Water is the most vital of resources. Human consumption, fish and wildlife, recreation, and economic activity—it all is based on water.
But Tennessee is one of just a handful of states that doesn’t have a long-term plan to ensure we have plenty of clean water in the future.
In 2017, Tennessee’s former Governor Bill Haslam assembled various groups to develop a statewide plan for future water availability in Tennessee. Tennessee Wildlife Federation is proud to be among them and represent the needs of fish, wildlife, and people who enjoy the great outdoors. The TN H2O plan includes an assessment of current water resources and recommendations to help ensure Tennessee has plenty of clean and healthy water in the future.
Now it’s your turn. Until February 28, 2019, you can read the plan and then tell us what you think. This is your chance to shape the single most important thing to this state for the foreseeable future.
