Tennessee Wildlife Federation, one of the largest and oldest nonprofits dedicated to conserving the state’s wildlife and natural resources, welcomes Candy Sakarapanee as the new director of finance.
Candy will serve the Federation by directing all aspects of financial operations—such as budgeting, reporting, auditing, and financial planning—as well as manage human resources needs.
Candy brings more than 20 years of experience, including 15 in the nonprofit sector, to the Federation. In her previous roles, Candy successfully directed and managed financial operations for a variety of industries.
“We’re fortunate to have Candy as part of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation team,” said Kendall McCarter, chief development officer of Tennessee Wildlife Federation. “We’re looking forward to her diverse experience and love for the outdoors to help propel the Federation into the new decade so we can accomplish more than ever before for our wildlife and natural resources.”
Candy holds a bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University with concentrations in finance/economics, management, and marketing.
When Candy is not in the office, you can find her kayaking the beautiful rivers and lakes of Tennessee.
