Academy Sports + Outdoors Sponsors Federation Programs

Tennessee Wildlife Federation is excited to announce a new partnership with Academy Sports + Outdoors as the program-wide sponsor of both our Tennessee Scholastic Clay Target Program and Youth Hunting & Fishing Program.

“Academy Sports + Outdoors is very excited to partner with Tennessee Wildlife Federation to engage youth in outdoor activities,” said Rick Burleson, Academy regional marketing specialist. “This relationship allows us to further our commitment to outdoor enthusiasts and continue our mission of making it easier for everyone to enjoy more sports and outdoors.”

As a program sponsor, Academy will contribute to a variety of events across the state, including coaches’ and Hunt Master trainings, Tennessee SCTP tournaments, and youth hunting and fishing events.

“We’re thrilled to have Academy Sports + Outdoors as a sponsor. Their support allows us to focus our efforts on providing exceptional programming for Tennessee youth,” said J.W. Worthen, director of programs at Tennessee Wildlife Federation. “Academy’s mission and offerings align well with ours as we introduce youth to a lifetime exploring and loving the great outdoors.”

The Federation sought a relationship with Academy due to its extensive footprint across Tennessee, which allows more of our shooting teams and other program participants access to the apparel and equipment they need. Academy will also offer special promotions to those in Federation programs.
